As this is a hardware issue, I'd suggest you Contact HP in your region regarding the service options for your computer.
If you are having trouble navigating through the above options, it's most likely because the device is out of warranty. If yes? please send me a private message with the region you are contacting us from. Check next to your profile Name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.
Have a great day!
Please click “Accept as Solution” if you feel my post solved your issue, it will help others find the solution.

@manish02315 I understand your concern and I will bring your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP.
Although, I'll need some private information from you in order to create a case for you.
Please look for a private message requesting additional information.
Keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers, case details, etc...).

Hello,
I have also had a problem with a broken Hinge where the hinge has become detached from the back cover of the laptop then pushed the screen out of its position causing a crack. This has rendered the touch screen unusable.
What route can you recommend for me to take. My laptop is out of warranty however there was no misuse throughout the lifetime of the laptop.
Many thank,
Dannny4424

I am having the same problem. My hinge screw felt out and now I can't open the laptop. It appears this a VERY PROMINENT problem with HP laptops. Why don't they correct this poor construction of the laptop? We are considering not buying HP any longer. Thank you for posting.

We are considering not buying HP any longer. If this was not due to customer damage or the like, does my HP warranty cover it. My warranty is still active. Thank you for posting.
