We bought this HP Pavilion x360 two years ago, and just a few days after the warranty got over, the display started cracking with the hinge coming out from behind, the battery died completely, and the cooler fan stopped working at every startup. We contacted HP Support and even went to the Service Center but they said it will cost ₹30k-40k, we just denied that cause it was a design problem that lots of customers are facing. Later emailed a manager at HP and she said they have raised a request and someone from HP will contact us. They did contact but said that it will cost 30k with a small discount, like what was the use of me contacting then.
There is absolutely no drop. Proof: No damage on the outer body. Never even went to some local repair shop. I handled it with so much care myself because it is a really expensive laptop I bought by spending all my savings.
I tried contacting Customer care again after literally a year of this issue because the webcam stopped working, the display has a black stripe on the top, the touch stopped working and the laptop is almost of no use now. I am using a ₹1.10L laptop with Feviquick applied to keep the parts in place, but, is there really no solution to this?

@PixelUnator, Welcome to the HP Support Community! I’m here to help.
I understand your concern. As this is a hardware issue, please reach out to the HP Technical Support team in your region regarding the service/replacement options. You may get a grace period on the warranty.
Follow the instructions below to reach them:
1) Click on this link - https://support.hp.com/us-en/contact-hp
2) Select your product type below.
3) Enter the serial of your device.
4) Select the country from the drop-down.
5) Select the chat or get phone number options based on your preferences.
6)Fill the web-form and proceed further.
If you are having trouble navigating through the above options, it's most likely because the device is out of warranty. If yes? please send me a private message with the region you are contacting us from. Check next to your profile name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.
Hope this helps! Let me know how it goes.
Please click “Accept as Solution” if you feel my post solved your issue, it will help others find the solution.
Click on the YES button to reply that the response was helpful and/or to say “Thank You”.
Have a great day!

@kumar0307 I did contact HP team with that process, we had a chat for almost 30 minutes with absolutely no conclusion other than the same thing, that I’ll receive the quotation and I’ll have to pay the same fee of 30k. Being helpless, I had to drop this topic here.

I'm afraid there is no other option in this case. As the product is out of warranty, you will have to pay for the service.
Keep me posted for any other assistance.
