HP ENVY x360 15.6 inch 2-in-1 Laptop PC 15-ee1000 (2E2L0AV)

The hinge/screen are broken and not allowing me to open the laptop. After checking into the issue more, it seems this is a common issue about 1.5-2 years into ownership. I'm wondering what support HP provides for this, since it's a known and common issue. Is there somewhere we can get this repaired, or do we send it in, etc.? Nintendo does an excellent job dealing with a very similar situation - their joycons are known for getting "drift stick". All you need to do is request it/them to be fixed and they send you a box for shipping, fix them, and then ship them back to you. Just wondering if something like this exists for this laptop problem? Thanks for any info!
