Laptop hinge broke causing screen to crack. This is a known problem. Getting assistance through this chat process is really bad. I'm done with hp. Will never buy again. Seriously, selling a known defective product and can't even get customer service. Sounds like class action waiting to happen. Customers won't get much but lawyer fees won't be cheap.

I had the same issue sometime back, you can see my post at this link
I had seen that before me others have had this issue.
This surely is a defective product HP Pavilion 14, someone with a larger screen also had the same issue.
This person Echo Lake responds and supposedly raises issues, but no one from HP ever contacted.
HP - No more products HP products for me.
