I got this HP Envy x360 i7 just a couple of days ago and right off the bat, I noticed that battery life was massively under what was marketed. This laptop was said to have around 10 hours of battery life but at the rate the battery on my laptop was dropping, there were only around 2-3 hours of battery. I ran a diagnostic test on this and it said everything was normal for the battery. The only thing I use while not plugged in is at max 8 or 9 chrome tabs and maybe one Microsoft edge tab. Then I looked into the task manager, it said that a little more than 50% of RAM was being used. Is that normal and if not would that contribute to the low battery life? What could I do myself to fix this issue before taking it to a physical place?

Hello @j1kappuzha
Thanks for reporting.
It seems to be an incorrect specification.. A 3-cell battery with 51 WHr can never last 10 hours.

Is there any way I could extend the battery life? Such as replacing it with another compatible model if possible or? other than trying to conserve my usage, because that won't work as I only do the bare minimum when using it off-plug
