HP only has the service manual for the original 15-fq0xxx/15-dy0xxx available.

You can run this command in Windows Powershell as administrator to confirm how much memory your notebook can support:

 

Get-CimInstance -ClassName Win32_PhysicalMemoryArray | Select-Object MaxCapacityEx, MemoryDevices
