I have a Pavilion 15 notebook and want to download it's drivers for win7 x64. But in the list of operating systems, there is only windows 8 x64!!! It is ridiculous.

Please provide the model number and product number of your unit for reference.

 

If you need drivers, please follow these steps:
1. In the Run box type devmgmt.msc.
2. Unknown devices would be listed as such and marked out with a yellow question mark.
3. Select the unknown device or other device for which you need drivers and right click to access Properties.
4. In the Properties window click on Details tab and select Device Instance Id  or Hardware ID from the drop down.
5. An alphanumeric string like this PCI\VEN_1217&DEV_7130&SUBSYS_012F1025&REV_01\4&6B16D5B&0&33F0 is the identification marker for the device.
6. Please provide this number so that we can suggest the appropriate driver.

Hi Vidya,

 

I have bought a Pavilion 15-e049tx. It is my 3rd HP notebook. I also Installed windows 7 ultimate on it. Then I checked this link to download drivers for it:

But in the operating systems list there is not win7 64-bit. There is only windows 8 64-bit !!!!!!!

Thank you for drivers.

Unfortunately the AMD Graphics Driver does'nt work properly. Thus I can't use the video card. I also downloaded 8xxxM driver from AMD website but it doesn't work too and they've written that I should download driver from notebook manufacturer in this situations.

Please help me.

Obviously, many people have this problem, myself amoung them. I've recently bought a HP Pavilion 15-e005sm notebook (product no. E6A75EA) with FreeDOS. I installed Windows 7 64-bit Ultimate, only to find out the only drivers available are for Windows 8. I've found and installed some of the drivers, but I still don't have internet access. In desperation, I've tried to install several drivers for Wi-Fi adapter, downloaded from "alternative" sources. That is not recommended, I know. Anyway, the device manager doesn't even recognize all devices and Intel  Chipset Utility didn't help. I see yellow exclamation marks next to:
