HP 15s-fq1002tu
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Just bought my HP 15s-fq1002tu today. I would like to add extra RAM into the 2nd slot.

I found only 2 screws under the laptop. Which I assumed that all other screws are under the rubber lines that support the bottom. My question is

1. Do unscrewing the screws does void my warranty?

2. Also, Do remove the rubber lines void my warranty?

3. If 2 above doesn't void my warranty, do open the back cover or adding extra RAM void my warranty?

I've try to call the Call Center in my country(Thailand) but no hope, the line seems always busy for this number.

Hi:

Since this is a peer to peer forum, we are not authorized to speak on behalf of HP regarding the warranty terms and conditions.

You can see this excellent reply by Huffer at the link below regarding our general opinion of this matter.

This assumes that there is no label on the PC warning you that the warranty will be voided if you open the case.

Here is the link to the user guides page.  One of the service manuals listed there should help eliminate the guesswork regarding opening up your notebook.
