I submitted a warranty dispute last week and have the confirmation email. However, there is NO information about when I can expect an answer or even how/where to check my case status. The HP website is most UNHELPFUL in this regard: nothing in the search or virtual assistant. I had to leave the site and google the question just to get this far. So how do I check my case?

I reviewed your post and I understand that you are facing issues with the warranty information of your computer.
Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.
I recommend you contact support and they will assist you in this regard.
Here is how you can get in touch with support.
1)Click on this link – www.hp.com/contacthp/
2)Select the product type.
3)Enter the serial number of your device or select let HP detect your product option.
4)Select the country from the drop-down.
5)You should see the HP phone support number or Chat option listed.

Hi, I had already done as you suggested.
I have received a case number for my warranty claim.
The problem is that it has gone silent from HP end, and I want to check status with HP and chase them up to get a resolution.
