HP ENVY 17.3 inch Laptop PC 17-cr1000 (755C2AV)

I've found answers for different years and different computers so here we are again. I'm having the same issue with the display control update. It downloads and I've even gone into the file and tried step 2 from there and it looks like it's successful but it's not. Then when I try again it says my browser crashed.  I'd like to get rid of this pop up (I tried turning off notifications, didn't work) or get it updated properly. How do I do that?Screenshot display update 1 2024-03-30 054338.jpgScreenshot display update 2 2024-03-30 054338.jpg

Do not follow the part about Registry Cleanup!!

You can easily damage your Windows installation to the point where it will not boot up with a simple error in the Registry..

Just so you know, the HPDC_Service.exe is not a required software or service for your laptop or OS.

The HP Display center is actually for LCD displays.

It will not hurt anything to disable the service or remove it from the startup apps.
