How do I know how much space is on my laptop?

Apologies for the dumb question, but how do I know how much space a laptop has? I am looking to get a new one and the GB and TBs are confusing me. Is the RAM or Hard Drive Capacity the one telling me how much space is on my device? Like if i went to files and to "this pc" is it telling me the space of the RAM or hard drive? I am asking to make sure, thank you.

'This PC' is showing you the disk drive space--the total amount of space and how much space is free.

The amount of system memory can be found by going to settings>system>about, and it will show the amount of memory.

Or you can run the Windows system information app and about 2/3 of the way down on the report, it will show the amount of memory.
