I have a hp pavilion - 15-cw1500sa - i'm trying to find out if i can add an ADDITIONAL ssd or will i have swap the current one for a larger capacity. 

I dont want to open the bck until i have to, in case i break something.

The PC only has support for one M.2 SSD.

 

If you need more storage, you will have to replace the existing SSD with one having a greater storage capacity.

 

If your notebook is one that has a 128 GB SATA SSD, you can upgrade that to a higher performing M.2 NVMe SSD of a greater storage capacity.

 

NVMe SSDs can be up to 5x faster than a SATA SSD.
