Product: HP Notebook - 15-dw1083wm

How many volts does my Pavilion dv5 USB port provide? I'm trying to power an external DVD player that requires 5 volts. The CD DVD doesn't work anymore I think, due to drivers not being available any longer. Does anyone know of a source of drivers to update this computer hardware? Windows 10 still updates. My new Dell Latitude E5470 doesn't put out enough power. 

 

The HP is slow as can be. Yikes. Any ideas on how to speed it up? (: I'm not a computer wiz.
