My laptop has only one slot for ram. I want to know how much that slot can use. Currently has 4 gigs.

Walmart model with Celeron N2830 15-f033wm.
Pages 29-30 for "how-to".
You can install one of these 8 gig modules:
8 GB memory module (PC3, 12800, 1600-MHz) 693374-001

It has 1 slot (Celeron & Pentium processor).

It came with 4gb. Manual says 4gb max, but also says one 8gb stick max supported below it.
You have to get exact same configuration, speed, voltage stick as given in manual.
DDR3L 1333MHz 1.35V SO-DIMM SDRAM
Celeron N2830 processor support max 8gb.
