Product: hp 15 notebook pc
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
My laptop has only one slot for ram. I want to know how much that slot can use. Currently has 4 gigs.

Hi,
It has 1 slot (Celeron & Pentium processor).
Manual: http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c04763947
Specs: http://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c04504147
Page 1 & 30 for replacement instructions.
It came with 4gb. Manual says 4gb max, but also says one 8gb stick max supported below it.
You have to get exact same configuration, speed, voltage stick as given in manual.
DDR3L 1333MHz 1.35V SO-DIMM SDRAM
Celeron N2830 processor support max 8gb.
Run this tool:

It'll list and sell gauranteed compatible upgrades possible.
