Can someone tell me how to go about replacing the top cover palm rest (part # L24817-001) on a HP Notebook model 14-cf1015cl laptop?  The corner of mine is broken and I want to replace it with one from a same model donor parts laptop.  Thanks!!

Here is the key language from the Manual:

 

The top cover/keyboard spare part remains after all other spare parts have been removed.

 

This is on p. 64 of the Manual:

In other words you completely disassemble the laptop, in this case by flipping it over, remove the bottom cover and all the internals and then rebuild the laptop onto the new top cover. A pretty big job. Post back with any more questions and please accept as solution if this is the info you needed.
