I just to upgrade my laptop's hard disk to SSD.

If i do it manually warranty will be void.

My laptop is under warranty and have accidental damage protection plan till 2021.

How can i add ssd in this laptop.

 

Help would be appreciated.

Hello @MakMilan,

 

Generally speaking, upgrading an HP laptop's memory or storage will not void the warranty unless accidental damage is inflicted.

 

It seems like you can set up a dual-storage configuration by adding an M.2 SSD.

 

Installation procedure starts here (Page 66 in PDF).

 

You can find SSD options in the Maintenance and Service Guide and use those spare part numbers in the HP Parts Store or refer to Crucial.
