Hello guy! I have to calibrate the battery and I have tried the method suggested by HP support but it doesn't work. I had even tried to discharge complety and then charge again but it doesn't. The method suggested by HP is :
1)Connect the AC adapter.
2)Fully charge the battery (99%-100%).
3)Keep the AC adapter connected to the computer for 3 hours with the battery fully charged (99%-100%).
4)Launch the HP Battery Check using HP Support Assistant to validate the results.
Is there any other method to calibrate battery? Thank in advance for your feedback.

Battery calibration starts off with A/C disconnected and forcing the laptop to discharge completely using a test built into the BIOS.

Expand "Calibrate the battery manually"
You might want to run a battery report both before and after to compare.you run the battery report by bringing up the administrator command windows amp;quot;cmdamp;quot; and running powercfg/batteryreport as shown below
After entering that explorer line you should see something like the following. You will have to click on it as it is long
http://stateson.net/docs/SP4_battery-report.html
be sure to rename the battery report so you can compare it to the new one.
Battery should last about 5 years but less for gaming systems.
