Hi, my laptop is HP Notebook 14s-dq1013tu. On the website, my maximum frequency memory is 3200 Mhz.
The initial RAM is 4GB 2666Mhz, I change to 2x 8GB 3200Mhz.
I check and see that now my RAM Capacity is 16GB, but the frequency (DRAM) is 1064.4 Mhz.
Can anyone help me, how can I change my freq (DRAM) to 1600 Mhz? I cannot find the option to do that in BIOS.
Thankyou very much

Hi,
I believe the RAM in your notebook runs at 2666MHz. So if you insert 3200MHz RAM it will run at 2666MHz.
You need RAM which will run at that speed without XMP. If you insert RAM that needs XMP to run at 3200MHz, it will run at the base clock of that RAM
Hope it helps,
David
