Pavilion 14bf012TX
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

I noticed there is an USB C port on my laptop HP Pavilion model 14bf012TX. When I tried to connect the port to my mobile phone via the USB-C to USB-C cable (max 3.0A current), I only got slowly charging on my phone. Is there a way to enable Power Delivery current output from the laptop's USB C port?

Thanks!

Your machine has following ports

1 HDMI;

1 headphone/microphone combo;

1 RJ-45;

1 USB 3.1 Type-C™ Gen 1 (Data Transfer up to 5 Gb/s);

2 USB 3.1 Gen 1 (Data transfer only)

The USB-C port does NOT support Power Delivery and you can't activate it, It is something to do with hardware too.

Actually you are asking about a different thing. It will negotiate with your phone to get the RIGHT current supported by your phone.

Regards.
