Common problems for Battery
We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about: Battery Reports, Hold a charge, Test and Calibrating Battery . Check out this link: Is your notebook plugged in and not charging?
HP Recommended

After connecting a Powerbank to charge the Notebook (Battery had 97% and I wanted to test if charing via powerbank is possible) I got a message, that I should use only original HP charching environments and afterwards Windows closes directly and Notebook was off.

Also with more than 15 sec. Power key without and with plugged power no LED is lightning.

What can I do to bring my notebook to run again?

For info: Notebook is brand new from Renew program. I did first two starts of Windows without any issues. The trouble began after plugging the Anker 737 Powerbank.

A hard reset should fix the problem

  • Turn on the computer by holding the power button down for 20 full seconds then release.
  • Press the Power button one more time (if necessary) to start the computer.
  • Tap the ESC key about once a second after you see the LEDs on the keyboard flash.
  • Press F2 to run diagnostics: (v) 2.6.1.0 or later.

Try it one more time and count to 20 to ensure 20 seconds.

Note  Not all HP notebooks can be charged through the USB-C port.

When I plug my powerbank to some other notebooks I could see how much watt will be charged. On my new Envy notebook nothing happen

It helps if you fully identify a laptop.

"HP Envy x360 laptop" is too generic.

HP has produced and brought to market more than a thousand different models of notebooks and desktop PCs over the years.

It is difficult to help you if we don't know which specific model you own..

Method #1: If the notebook will boot into Windows, you can retrieve your Product Number by pressing Fn + Esc key.

Method #2: Press the power button and immediately tap the F10 key to invoke the BIOS. In the Main section, you will find the Product number or Product ID. Post that in your next reply in your thread.

Method #3: Press the power button and immediately tap the F2 key.

Method #4: If powering on is not an option, take a look at the bottom of the laptop for the label with the product name and product number. For a desktop look at the rear for the label.

If your laptop has HP Hardware Diagnostics UEFI version 10.3.0.0, there is a System Information section that also has the Product ID.
We need that information, along with the installed Operating System information to help you.

HP ENVY x360 15-fh0777ng

Nothomg happen. Akku was on 97% before he went gone.

No LED is lightning, also not with another plug.

Using the the Anker 737 Powerbank. appears to have damaged the charging circuit.

I doubt if warranty will cover the customer induced damage.

Does the laptop still power on with the supplied power adapter?

Probably that defect happens after connecting with the Powerbank.

The Anker 737 works without any problems on my Dell Laititude and HP zBook 15 G8.

Therefore also the Envy should work with it.

Unfortunately, your logic makes no sense considering the result you had after connecting it to the HP Envy laptop.

Power adapters with USB Type-C connectors work.

The specifications  for your laptop do state that, but nothing is said about the compatibility of a third party power bank.
