You're very welcome.
When the site comes back up, they will have compatible memory for your notebook.
It's been down all weekend.
Your notebook's processor can run memory at a max speed of 2400 MHz, but if you find that DDR4-2666 or DDR4-3200 memory costs less, then you can install the faster memory too. It will automatically bridge to 2400 MHz.
You want the memory with the green circuit board.

Paul,
I now have a new challenge;
I bought the new 980 SSD, followed youtube instructions, and installed the SSD.
- System had the original HDD, where windows 11 was installed
- SSD now started showing up in Windows Explorer
Followed instructions on a site (maybe HP support, ...lost the link) and cloned the HDD to SSD. Now my Windows Explorer shows up both drives
- The HDD as C:
- and SSD as G:
but its still booting from C: .
So, my challenge is:
How do I make the system to boot from the SSD( as C:) and I be able to use the HDD as just a storage drive?
I tried going to the BIOS setting ( Pressing F10 at Startup) and looked under the System Configuration section and when I select the option to set boot priority, it only shows up the HDD,
Any suggestions/recommendation is highly appreciated
Regards
Sujit

Hi, Sujit;
On some notebooks, I guess like yours, the PC will always want to boot from the 2.5" drive and not the SSD.
The usual procedure is to temporarily disconnect the 2.5" drive and make sure the notebook boots off and runs on the SSD for a bit.
Do some restarts and whatnot to make sure it is 100% working.
Then you can connect the 2.5" drive back up and hopefully the Windows boot manager will not switch back to the hard drive.
I recommend that you completely format the 2.5" drive and use it for storage only.
HP notebooks that come with dual drive configurations (2.5" drive + NVMe SSD) have no operating system on the 2.5" drive.

Ok, sounds like a good recommendation.
- I will disconnect the HDD(2.5" drive)
- restart the laptop
- If the system boots from the SSD, I am in pretty good shape
- Whenever I connect the HDD, have to make sure it is formatted and clean
Thanks again, Paul.
Will update progress in a couple days... 🙂
