HP Notebook - 15q-bu107tx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

As inferred from specs, this model HP Notebook - 15q-bu107tx does not have any additional slot for SSD. However people suggested to install SSD in the DVD drive slot using a caddy. It has 1TB HDD, i7 8th gen processor, 8GB RAM. I Want to install a 500gb SSD to speed up the sluggish laptop. Need exact model of SSD to purchase and feedback from those who have used SSD in DVD drive slot. Crucial website suggests its own MX500 500GB 3D NAND SATA 2.5-inch 7mm (with 9.5mm adapter) Internal SSD for this laptop model

Today went to a local service center with my HP 15q-bu107tx laptop. Was relieved to find an inbuilt slot for SSD, which eliminated the need of caddy and removal of DVD drive
