How can I understand the difference between two products with their codes?

For example, these two OMEN are almost the same but with different codes:

OMEN Gaming Laptop 16t-wf100

OMEN Gaming Laptop 16-wf1047nr

The first one (16t-wf100) is for CTO (Configure To Order) machines. Normally machine it t or z (16t or 16z) are CTO machine. In this case. CTO machines are only available in the US or North America.

  • 16t = screen size
  • wf1xx = series.

The second one (16-wf1047nr) is a pre-built model/product

  • 16 = screen size
  • wf1xxx = where xxx = 000 to 999 a member of a series in this case 1047
  • nr these last 2 characters (sometimes 3)  is coountry/region code from aa to zz. In this case nr is for the US, you can also see dx or cl (a store chain) or wm (walmart) . nr machines won't available outside the US.

Hope this helps.

Regards.
