Hi there! I become a happy owner of such laptop today. Get it home, and wanted to set a new SSD into it, also want to add some RAM in future. BUT! I dont know how to open that thing! On the back side there is no removable cases. Not even AC. I cant put out AC to save it against surely death, if i would use it at home like a PC.
That looks pretty strange for me, why HP engineers did such thing.
Well on the back side there are only 5 pcs of screws and thats all. I put them out, but nothing happens. I tried to pin between upper and lower parts of main case, but its not moving.
The model is really new, and i cant fine any info about it in web. But i want to set an SSD asap in this laptop. So maybe someone knows how to do it?
I would be very appreciate for some photos or videos.
Thanks in advance.

This is just how laptops are now. People want them nice and thin and removeable batteries and access panels get in the way of that design.
Here's the Manual:
You want to pick up on p. 34 with the rubber feet. Remove carefully. Don't stetch them out too much or you won't squeeze them back in the channels. Also try to keep some of the gummy glue on them to reattach.
Page 36 has a great picture of the memory in the lower left and the M.2 disk slot right above the battery. It will take an NVME/PCIe M.2 and that is absolutely what you want: several times faster than a SATA even an M.2 SATA:
Above is the disk HP would have installed if you had ordered one.
16 gig memory kit:
Post back if you need more help.
