HP Pavilion 14-bk061st
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Greetings,

I am stumped on how to open the case of my new HP Pavilion 14-bk061st laptop so I can upgrade it's memory.  I have the three screws out from the front underside, but that's as far as I've got, as I don't want to damage anything.  I've searched videos online but no luck for this particular model.  Some suggest there are screws hidden beneath the rubber feet on the bottom, but I'm hesitant to peel these off.

Thank you in advance for any help you might be able to provide, I would be very grateful.

Keith

Hi Keith,

The max RAM for your system is 16GB of DDR4-2133Mhz RAM (2x8GB)

On pages 1 and 34 of service manual you can see various configurations and steps to upgrade RAM.

You can also look at these HP videos (click on base enclosure and memory modules in list on left)

You are going to need to remove the rubber feet :generic:

The second link is identified as a potential “spoof” of the HP page. Apparently ait has an invalid security certificate.
