Hello,
I have an HP 2530p laptop and it's configuration is -
Core2 Duo L9400
2GB RAM
120GB 5400 rpm SATA drive.
Windows 10 Home X64
I would like to upgrade RAM to 4GB (by adding another 2GB) OR to 8GB by replacing existing one with 2x4GB. Could you please provide me EXACT p/n for 2GB DIMM and 4GB DIMMs?
I also would like to replace my HDD with SSD (i think we need 1.8" microSSD) of 80GB or more. Could you please provide me exact P/N for this?
When I opened my laptop I saw only 1 DIMM slot (not used) and HDD like the below. Where is the first DIMM slot (with 2GB DIMM)? Also, In order to upgrade to SSD I should use DVD caddy to add SSD (by removing DVD drive) OR can I remove existing HDD and place the new SSD there? Please advise, Many thanks!!

It supports 8GB of RAM max, its specs
http://www.hp.com/hpinfo/newsroom/press_kits/2008/mobility/ds_elitebook2530p.pdf
and page 72 of the following manual shows you EXACTLY RAM part #
http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c02017504.pdf
For SSD, since laptop did mot come with SSD therefore no available part. You may want to try

Thank you banhien ..
The PDF also has P/N for 80GB SSD = 492566-001
Noted below P/Ns:
492571-001 2-GB, PC2-6400, 800-MHz, DDR2 memory module
492572-001 4-GB, PC2-6400, 800-MHz, DDR2 memory module
I stay in UK and its hard to find these parts here. The amazon.co.uk says "out of stock". Do you know any trusted dealer in UK (other than ebay) who can sell these?
Thanks again & Best,

Sorry I misread SSD bit, 80GB is too small. For RAM, please try different part
