HP Pavilion - 15-cc123cl
Microsoft Windows 11

I am looking to upgrade the RAM on my laptop

Product: HP Pavilion - 15-Cc123cl

OS: Windows 11

From the information in the product manual (HP 15Cc123cl Manual )

Memory Two SODIMM memory module slots, non-customer-accessible/non-upgradable
Supports up to 16-GB of system memory
Supports the following conƭgurations
● 16384-MB (8192-MB × 2)
● 12288-MB (8192-MB + 4096-MB)
● 8192-MB (8192-MB × 1 or 4096-MB × 2)
● 6144-MB (4096-MB × 1 + 2048-MB × 1)
● 4096-MB (4096-MB × 1 or 2048-MB × 2

But when I go to buy the RAM, there is so much more information and options that is presented that I am not sure what to buy.

For eg; i saw the following on www.amazon.com
HP S1 RAM 16GB Kit (8GBx2) DDR4 2666MHz CL19 Laptop Memory - 8NN19AA#ABC

I have no idea looking at the description whether this will be compatible with my laptop. Any recommendations?

Appreciate any help

Sujit

Hi:

That memory may work fine, but you really only need to remove the 4 GB chip and replace it with 1 x 8 GB and have 16 GB since you already have an 8 GB memory chip.

Alternatively, you can use this memory.  The 3200 MHz memory will bridge to 2400 Mhz.

Crucial RAM 8GB DDR4 3200MHz CL22 (or 2933MHz or 2666MHz) Laptop Memory CT8G4SFRA32A at Amazon.com
