I have an hp pavillion laptop. I need to use functions in Excel that require Shift+[function key]. However, since I have to use fn to use the function keys I am not sure how to use that in conjunction with Shift+[function key] commands. I have tried fn+shift+[function key] and shift+fn+[function key] but neither works.
I think the easiset way would be to turn off fn so I can use the function keys without it but I am not sure how to do this.
I am also open to other workarounds.
Thanks in advance,

I used to use Fx keys daily a lot and I had to use external keyboard. Please use the following Guide to disable Fn key
