Team,
It seems BS145TU only supports 2.4 Ghz.. It this correct.
If so can we upgrade the module to 5 GHz one... with help of service person.

Yes correct. Here is the Service Manual:
See p. 4. You have the Realtek RTL8723BE-VB 802.11b/g/n 1x1 Wi-Fi + BT4.0 Combo Adapter
With that device HP only placed a single antenna inside the laptop. This effectively prevents upgrade to any "better" dual band wireless card. Such cards must have a pair of antennae to work right. Adding an antenna can be done but requires nearly complete disassembly to accomplish. If you would need a technician to install the card, you need a really good and expensive technician to add an antenna and add a card.
Your best and easiest solution is an 802.11ac protocol usb wireless dongle. You have a couple usb ports so you could give one up permanently for a new wireless adapter. Current models are cheap small and do not stick out the side of the laptop much if any and have very good reception, and require no tech to install.
