Hp 15 Bs049nk SSD Compatibility

Hello I'm  New , I have done some researchs about upgrading  my HDD to SSD for my personnal computer , i'm still not convinced on the differents options. 

Does somebody know a good SSD for this model ?  

i'm student , i just want it to go faster . For the moment , i still have the same HDD SATA 1To . Format 2.5

maybe it's a lot but I would keep at least the half of the stockage capacity.  

HP 15 do all have the same composition ?  can i trust what i see on internets videos to help change it if  I buy a SSD ?

Hi:

Since your notebook has an Intel® Core™ i5-7200U processor, you have a couple of options.

1. You can replace the 2.5" mechanical hard drive with a 2.5" SSD.

2. Notebooks with the Intel core processors have M.2 slots that support SATA M.2 SSD's.   

NVMe SSD's are not supported.

You can install a M.2 SATA SSD and use the existing 1 TB drive for storage.

3.  You could remove the 2.5" drive, and just use a M.2 SATA SSD instead.

Chapter 1 has the supported drive types.
