Hi, I was replacing the display unit of my HP Envy 13-ag, and discovered that one of the hinges is not fixated to the metal cover of the screen. In other words, it seems that the only relevant force that fixated the hinge to the screen is "some" glue, that now is dry and acts as garbage.
I want to know the exact procedure to clean and re-glue the metals together.
Is it really necessary to remove the remaining dry and old glue? How? What kind of super strong glue should I use to glue again the hinges? I'm in Spain until the end of March so if you recommend me specific brands or stores it would be great.
