This problem has been reported by a lot of customers. HP has never given a solution to this subject. Please is 2021 and I wish an answer from HP. Thanks

Apologies for all the inconvenience

 

We understand the issue with the battery draining when it's shut down. 

 

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, 

 

May I know if the BIOS is up to date?

 

May I know that is any peripherals connected to the notebook after shut down?
