I have also realized something else while doing the hp support assistant battery test sometimes while it's testing the battery sometimes the battery would start to charge but when the battery test was over it would stop I don't know If it is part of the test or it's trying to fix something.
when booting up i get this screen and during that screen the led charging indicator turns solid white then solid orange and quickly back to solid white then after using the computer for awhile after about 15-20 minutes the led charging indicator turns solid orange but will be constantly flashing solid orange until I unplug the computer which instantly turns off because it's at 0% running on AC power.
I hope this helps with the issue and if there is a hardware problem I'd like to know what pieces to buy if so i do already know to buy a new battery because its only holding 61% of its charge

Thank you for responding,
It's great to have you back 😉
I've gone through your end of the reality & as mentioned earlier, it's a battery failure and once you've replaced it,
everything should be back to awesomeness (normal)
You can always replace the parts either on the HP Parts Store or Contact HP as advised earlier,
I'm afraid that said, I'm at the end of the line and would like to bid farewell.

followed by clicking on 'Accepted as Solution' as it would help the community gain more knowledge,
And Have a great day Ahead!
