hi i would like to replace the processor in my laptop. what type of processor can i use? I can't find the dv6 6120ec manual anywhere. thank you very much.

Hi:

 

You can find the user guides link to the maintenance and service guide for your notebook at the link below.

Chapter 1 will have the supported processors. 

 

You would want either the list of AMD or Intel processors, depending on what processor your notebook has installed currently.

The processor should just be plug and play.

 

No settings need to be changed.
