Product: Hp envy x360
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello everyone I brought a hp envy x360 m convertible 

Model:15m-cp0011dx

And I brought a sata cable for the laptop but the laptop won't recognize the ssd

Can anyone figure out what's going on?

It has  SSD 128GB M2 SATA-3 TLC now. Are you talking about 2.5" SSD ? Where did you buy the SATA cable ? What is its part # ? You may have to initialize it before you can install it - I did get same problem few years ago and I had to use other computer to initialize it first.
