Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

hi 
I need some help to upgrade my laptop  to run faster especially due to Ram capacity I think
I have Hp Pavilion DV6 ( I think the model was 6680 but not sure)
I wonder if I can upgrade my RAM to 16GB)2*8?  but I don't know what type of RAM I should purchase
and if there is a possibility to change my HDD Drive to SSD
here is some system information :

System Model HP Pavilion dv6 Notebook PC

Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-2630QM CPU @ 2.00GHz, 2001 Mhz, 4 Core(s), 8 Logical Processor(s)

Installed Physical Memory (RAM) 6.00 GB

Total Virtual Memory 11.9 GB

hp pavilion-DV6 - 6080  notebook pc.
product number: A7N34EA#ABB


according to the maintenance guide for upgrade options (http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c02842252) I must be able to upgrade to 16GB RAm because of intel-processor I have.
but when I search on the Hp website for my laptop model, the catalogs mentioned to 8GB RAM 
would you please tell me the maximum amount of RAM I can add to my laptop and kind of a link for that RAM? because there are so many kinds of them out there
