Hello. I own a Hp pavilion gaming laptop 15 ec2011nv and my realtek rtl8852ae wifi card had an issue. I tried installing an Intel AX200 with Bluetooth card but the system recognizes only the Bluetooth and works OK. But no wifi. It doesn't "see" it at all. Is this Intel card compatible with my pc? If not can you tell me which exact model? I read in this forum something about different serial numbers on this Intel Ax200. Can somebody help me? Thank you

Hi:
I'm looking at the parts list for one of the HP Pavilion 15.6-inch Gaming Laptop PC 15-ec2000 (2P6B4AV) notebooks and it indicates the notebook came with the Intel AX200 non-vPro.
Look at the SPS number on the Intel card you installed.
It must be the non-vPro model that has the HP part number/SPS number of L35282-005
If that is the SPS number on the card you installed, unfortunately, I have no idea why it doesn't work.
I have the same card installed by HP in my HP ENVY x360 Laptop - 15-ee0047nr which has the Ryzen 5 4500U processor and it works fine.

You're very welcome.
It will be exactly the same as what you installed that didn't work, but this one will.

Is there something else that I have to do when I install the card? Uninstall something before? I know that I turn off the pc, remove battery and install card. After connect the baterry and turn on PC. Drivers will download automaticly with Windows 11 Update. Restart PC and ok. Is all that correct? Do i am missing something?
And you are correct that in HP's site the specs say that it came with an Intel AX200 card. Mine has Realtek RTL8852AE. Is something wrong with that? Should I worry? I dont know.

Silly me.
I didn't even look at the product specs for your notebook, assuming you upgraded it from the Realtek RTL882CE Wi-Fi adapter.
HP Pavilion Gaming Laptop 15-ec2011nv Product Specifications | HP® Support
The product specs indicated that it came with the Intel AX200.
Did something happen to the card that was installed, and you were just replacing it?
In any event since you had purchased an incorrect replacement model -- the vPro version, there should be nothing you need to do but what you indicated.
The drivers are the same for both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth for either version of the AX200.
After you get the non-vPro version of the Intel AX200 installed, and Windows installs the drivers, visit the Intel website for the latest Wi-Fi and Bluetooth drivers for the AX200.
Intel recently released updated versions this month.

I had some speed stability issues. My speed dropped down a lot, some times no download. Had to turn on and of wifi or recconecting to my home internet wifi. For some reason when I did the change with new (uncompatible) AX200 and reinstall Realtek the problem seems to have fix. 1 or 2 times happened since then but it could be internet provider issue. Anyway, since I am not sure what it is for certain and since the new card is cheap enough for me I decided to install a new one for every case. I read from consumers along the web that Realtek RTL8852AE had issues generally. But I bought the wrong AX200. I had to ask you fisrt and not hary. The only thing that worries me now is the new card works ok (compatible). I opened and closed my laptop 3 times and since I am not familiar with hardware i got anxious. And I dont want to damage the device (brake the cover etc). But on the other way I learned something. You lose something but you win something else. I am sorry for getting tired reading me. Thanks again.

You're very welcome.
Please do not think that you are being bothersome.
OK, so HP substituted the good quality Intel AX200 with the lousy and unreliable Realtek RTL8852AE Wi-Fi adapter which they consider an equivalent model, and the product specs are incorrect.
It may be equivalent because it is Wi-Fi 6 but that is where the similarities end.
That also changes the procedure you should follow by a little bit.
Before installing the Intel card, uninstall both the Realtek Wi-Fi adapter and driver in the device manager and check the uninstall driver box and do the same for the Realtek Bluetooth adapter and driver.
Shut down the PC and remove and replace the Wi-Fi adapter.
While you are waiting for the Intel card to arrive, see if installing the latest driver for the Realtek card helps any if you have not done so already.

If the Realtek card continues to work OK, I would not change it because those antenna wires are very thin and delicate and sooner or later, they might break if you keep changing out Wi-Fi cards.
That would not be good.

I have already install latest drivers. This time I am writing just happened wifi disconnection. I was worried too for the antennas and this is what I will check after installing new card and the problem exists. I noticed that number 1 antenna doesnt do the characteristic sound when I conect it to card (clik). Should I worry? Are antennas changeable to my laptop? And what about the cost? Could I buy them my self and install or it need a technician?

The antenna connector doesn't have to necessarily make a clicking noise for it to be attached, but that is usually what it will do.
As long as it does not fall off the terminal you should be fine.
You can order the antenna kit listed in Chapter 3, page 17 of the service manual (if you can find one somewhere) but it is a lot of work to install a new antenna wire and that would be best to avoid having to do that.
