Hi I wanted to know if I could add a cabinet to my All in One 22 DD0XXX because I wanted to play with better performance
And the truth is that I don't know much about computers
And another question if it can't I open my All In One and put another RAM or another CPU

Access the RAM Slots:
- Open the back panel of your AiO. This usually involves unscrewing a few screws and carefully removing the panel.
- Locate the RAM slots.
Install the New RAM:
- Remove the existing RAM if necessary by releasing the clips on either side.
- Insert the new RAM module at a 45-degree angle, then press it down until the clips snap into place.
Reassemble and Test:
- Reattach the back panel and secure it with screws.
- Plug in and turn on your AiO PC. The system should automatically recognize the new RAM.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.

Hi @Gael_15,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
HP All-in-One (AiO) PCs, such as the HP All-in-One 22, typically have limited upgradability compared to traditional desktop computers. Here are the options and limitations for upgrading your system.
Adding a Cabinet (External Enclosure)
Adding an external cabinet to an AiO PC isn't a standard practice. AiO systems are designed to be compact and integrate all components (display, motherboard, storage, etc.) into one unit. If you want better performance for gaming or heavy tasks, consider these alternatives:
External Graphics Card (eGPU):
- Some AiO PCs support eGPUs via a Thunderbolt 3 port. Check if your AiO has a Thunderbolt 3 port and supports eGPUs.
- eGPUs can significantly improve graphics performance.
External Storage:
- Using an external SSD can improve storage performance.
Internal Upgrades
Upgrading RAM:
- Many AiO PCs allow for RAM upgrades. Check your specific model's manual or specifications to see the maximum supported RAM and how to access the RAM slots.
- Upgrading RAM can improve system performance, especially for multitasking.
Upgrading Storage:
- Some AiO PCs allow you to upgrade the internal hard drive or SSD. Again, consult the manual for instructions and compatibility.
Upgrading the CPU:
- Upgrading the CPU in an AiO PC is usually challenging and not recommended for users who are not familiar with computer hardware.
- The CPU might be soldered onto the motherboard, making it impossible to replace.
Steps to Upgrade RAM in an HP All-in-One 22
Check Compatibility:
- Determine the type and maximum capacity of RAM your AiO supports. This information is usually available in the user manual or on HP's website.
Gather Tools:
- You'll need a screwdriver, an anti-static wrist strap, and the new RAM module.
Prepare Your Workspace:
- Turn off your AiO PC and unplug it.
- Place it on a flat, static-free surface.
