Hello, i bought a HP 15s-fq3018nq (s/n-5CD2278Z3Y) and i want to upgrade it from 4gb to 8GB ram. I see in the task manager that i have 2 slots for RAM ,I see in AIDA that i have 2 slots, I search in google and evrywhere is written that this model is with 2 slots for RAM. So I bought 2nd RAM exactly the same like main and when I open the laptop, I saw only 1 ram slots....
How many slots I have and where to find the second one ???

Hi:

Notebooks that come with the Intel Celeron processors only have one memory slot.

The notebooks that come with Intel Core processors have two memory slots.

You cannot 100% rely on software to determine how many memory slots your notebook comes with.

According to the Intel specs for your notebook's processor, it should support a single 16 GB-DDR4-3200 memory chip.
