Hi,

 

Did you buy the WWAN option ? From the following link it does not have the WWAN option. No WWAN the SIM card is useless.

Did you buy the WWAN option ? From the following link it does not have the WWAN option. No WWAN the SIM card is useless.

I think no as I've taken it from a friend of mine since a few days ago. But, all right could you please tell me how I could bring a WWAN module or, whatever I need to enjoy this 3G SIM facility of HP 2740p for my Tablet PC right now.

On my 2740p (p/n VB511AV) it has a label says Gobi2000 from Qualcomm and mentioned on the parts list:

Ohh.. I check all that you've shared earlier. And the WWAN device is not entitled against my p/n. That means I cann't able to have this facility anymore, right?

However if I wish to connect a fresh new WWAN card using my Express Card.. is it possible for..

Pleae check the following specs:

There are many Express cards for WWAN around but for broardband. I don't know there is any Express card adapter for SIM.
