Pavilion N5R26UA
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

When I try to install my Windows 10 update, I get the message: HP Pavilion Notebook - BIOS needs to be upgraded before you can upgrade to Windows 10.  Uninstall this app now because it isn't compatible with Windows 10.

Note that I already have Windows 10 (64) installed and I was using Windows Update option in Window 10's Setup to install the Window's updates!

You need the BIOS found in sp80252.exe

https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c05533184

http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp80001-80500/sp80252.exe

Download and run the BIOS update as per the instructions. Be sure the AC is plugged in and the battery fully charged. After the BIOS has been updated try the Creators Update to Windows 10 again and it will work.
