OMEN 16.1 inch Gaming Laptop PC 16-b0000 (2W6B3AV)

Hi,

I got a HP Omen 16-B0003ND laptop which I also use for work with 2 display monitors connected through a HP G5 (5TW10AA#ABB) USB-C dock. However the laptop doesn't seem to charge through the USB-C port. Can anyone help fix this?

Wattage out from the dock is 90W or 100W and your machine requires 230W AC adapter

That why the HP USB-C G5 dock won't be able to charge your machine. It should be able to charge your machine when not in use.

Regards.

Dear Banhien,

Many thanks for your quick reply. So if I understand you correctly it will never charge when using my laptop ? (even when the laptop screen is closed; and I'm exclusively working with the external monitors?
This power icon is mentioned on the side of the port; So i was hoping this was working the same as with my other laptop; which is a HP Probook. Do you have examples of USB-C docks which actually can load this laptop? so delivering 230W? or is the laptop simply to heavy?

Many thanks
Jurrian

HP has few higher wattage docks. I don't have money to buy all of them to test. They are on the following list

Dear Banhien,

Do you think this one will do the job?

I do not have the product to test. HP does not list a list of compatible notebooks
