That is correct. 

 

Only SATA M 2 SSD's are supported.

Hi:

 

If your notebook has a M.2 slot, it only supports SATA SSD's, not NVMe.

 

See chapter 1 page 3 of the service manual for the supported drive types.

I dont find an optical drive in this laptop but theres space inside dedicated for an optical drive.

I'm planning to buy a disk tray for hdd/ssd but i dont know what size of tray fits.

Hi:

 

Chapter 1, page 3 of the service manual indicates that if the PC had come with a DVD drive, it would have been 9.0 mm thick.
