Microsoft Windows 11

 The laptop was working just fine, but when I turned it up today showed me this. The memory test was passed but on the hard drive check was saying that there's no hard drive, which is impossible. Is this a virus or is it hacked or the hard drive just died? Please, help me 🙏🏼

@vixxsunn_77,

The error means that the BIOS doesn't detect the hard drive (HDD). Two possible reasons: the HDD is failing (or has failed) or it has a loose connection.

Looking at the version number of the Diagnostics UEFI, your laptop may be fitted with an HDD that is connected to the motherboard via a cable. If so you can reseat the cable. If you still have the error, then you need to replace the HDD.

That's as far as I can go without knowing your model number. It should be printed on the bottom case. If you have a removable battery, it is underneath the battery. Post back with the model number for further assistance.

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to assist you.

I see that you are facing an issue with your Laptop.

If there is an SSD installed on your laptop, the UEFI diagnostics might not detect the SSD.

Kindly refer to the steps on this link and let me know if that resolves the issue.
