I bought a HP gaming laptop, but to my surprise (was a private buy), the keyboard is in a foreign language. The seller says it's too late for me, no reverse, so I'm stuck with this Spanish keyboard (I'm Portuguese). Is there a way to buy correct keys to replace on my laptop? Thank you in advance.

Hi Gonçalo

It is possible to replace. However, it is not easy.

The keyboard comes as one part with the top cover and you need to completely disassemble the notebook to replace the part.

The part number you would need is M75757-071 for the Mica silver Spanish layout.

You can see on page 58-59 of service manual.

So you would need to remove all the parts from the old top cover and place them in the new one.

It might be a lot cheaper to get some quality Keyboard stickers

Hi David, didn't know about the stickers, I always forget that the problems I have some other person may have had too and there is a solution, I'll try the stickers.

Thank you very much,
