Hp pavilion 13-an1018ur
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi , I have purchased this <Hp pavilion 13-an1018ur> laptop 3 months ago and someone told me that why your fan is too loud. Then I installed fanspeed application to check my fan speed and temperature. It indicates that my fan 1 is running on 7000 rpm <when temperature rise to 90 degree Celsius>and fan 2 is works only on 111 -112 rpm maximum. I think that there's problem with my second fan. I think that because of low rpm of second fan cause high temperature<upto 90 degree> will leads first fan run on high rpm and that why it's too noisy and feels abnormal. Then I visited hp service center. Engineer from service center diagnosed that there's no problem with both fan and they both works under same load. I want to What is actual problem with my laptop. I also tried to reset my laptop but it didn't work

@Priyanshuvb2 Welcome to HP Community!

I understand that you are facing a fan that will not rotate properly.

HP will not recommend the third party application. The readings will not be accurate.

Have you tried to update the BIOS?

Try updating the computer, this will install the latest updates -

Step 1 Windows Updates -

1) In the search box, type, and open Windows Updates.

2) Check for updates.

3) If the updates are available, click on install and restart the computer.

Step 2 Install updates using HP Support Assistant

  1. In the search box, type, and open HP Support Assistant.
  2. Check for updates.
  3. If the updates are available, click on install and restart the computer.

Note: If you do not have HP Support Assistant installed, Click here to download the same.
