HP 15-daO326TU
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I'm currently facing problems with WiFi connection  because the wifi router is of 5 ghz and my laptop can't recognize it .  From internet sources I came to know that it will be resolved if I change the wifi module , but I don't know whether my laptop is compatible with upgrading it . If it's upgrade upgradable then please suggest me which type of module will suit for the laptop.

The laptop model is HP 15-daO326TU .

Please help me to solve this problem .

Hi:

This is the only wifi adapter you can upgrade to in your notebook since it only has one wifi antenna cable...

Realtek RTL8821CE 802.11 ac 1x1 WiFi + Bluetooth 4.2 Combo Adapter (MU-MIMO supported) HP part # L17365-005.

You can find this model on eBay, or Ali Express.

https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_nkw=L17365-005&_sacat=0&_sop=15

The card has the same throughput as the RTL8723DE card on the 2.4 GHz wifi band, but on the 5.0 GHz wifi band with an AC router, it has a maximum throughput of 433 MBPS.

Below is the link to the service manual, where you can find the wifi card removal and replacement procedure...

You're very welcome.

Looking forward to reading about the outcome of your notebook's wifi card upgrade project.

There is also a support video gallery that has videos on how to remove and replace the various components inside your notebook, which you may find helpful.

Hi:

Yes, that is the one you need.

You can also get them on Ali Express.  It might be cheaper for you that way.
