Hey. We primarily use Hp Servers and Netbooks in our company. We do have older equipment as allot of the newer stuff doesnt meet our requirements.
Were an ISP and require small fast Notebooks with Ethernet ports. Weve got one unit that is acting up. Its an HP/ Compaq 2510p and its having boot issues. The original hard disk died in it and the best replacement we could fins was a ZIF to MsAta adapter. It doesnt appear to like this drive type as the bios is version f.0D. We really need to get the latest bios on this unit so we can put it back into production. Can someone please help.

F.30 BIOS:

These are going to need to be flashed from a Windows environment preferably Windows XP and I am not sure how you are going to do this. This BIOS is from 2011 and likely predates the zif to M.2 adapter you have and is virtually certain not to make such a device useable for you. You need to get the proper 1.8 inch zif PATA hard drive which you can find on eBay with some difficulty.
Hard drives (include hard drive bracket and connector)
