HP 22400 mah Power Pack
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello everyone,

I just received my Power Pack and have a lot of questions regarding how this functions and charges.  And also how to register it.  I keep getting a system down screen once I put the Serial Number and Product ID in.

I am using this Power Pack to charge my HP Envy x360 m6 Convertible laptop, but as far as how to plug all this in, the setup guide is of no use.  With that said, here are the basic questions that I have.

Let's say, for example, the battery in my laptop is dead and I have used the Power Pack to use my laptop and now it is dead.  Do I have to charge each one of them separately or can I plug the Power Pack into a wall socket and then into the laptop?  In other words, is this a charge through system?  If so, does this charge up the laptop first and then charge the Power Pack?

I am not sure that I understand how the flashing of the lights on the Power Pack work either.  For instance, when I first go to charge the Power Pack, the first light flashes.  I am assuming that this means that the charging is taking place and that this light will go to a solid light once that level of charging is complete.  And then from there this will occur to the second, third, and fourth lights.  Am I correct?

Additionally, can anyone tell me what the average charging time is for the Power Pack?

What EXACTLY is your HP Envy x360 m6 Convertible laptop ? Are they COMPATIBLE ?

For the Power pack itself, please use the following manuals

That is one of the things that I am attempting to find out.  I tried this set up yesterday when my laptop battery got low and the Power Pack kept things going for awhile.  That being said, I have to assume that these to things are compatible especially since the are both made by HP.  As far as the user manual, it is basically useless and doesn't answer my questions or give practical information as to how to use this and charge in conjunction with my HP laptop.

No, we can't assuming that. HP has thousands of product lines and sometimes we can't even get compatible list of a product line. Now my question (again) what EXACTLY is your machine ? Please use the following instructions to find out the model/product of your machine:

Please do NOT post its Serial number (s/n).

Thanks for your reply and interest in my query.  I actually have all that information as well as the HP setup guide, but the guide is not very specific and I am trying to get answers to practical issues of charging, etc. which the user guide does not detail.
